She has a solid history of fending off maniacal serial killer Michael Myers, but Jamie Lee Curtis has no interest of going under the knife.

In a new interview, the 62-year-old “Halloween” icon is speaking out on Hollywood’s fascination with getting nipped and tucked, as well as her own experience with undergoing cosmetic procedures.

“I tried plastic surgery and it didn’t work. It got me addicted to Vicodin,”Curtis told Fast Company. “I’m 22 years sober now.”

And despite surgical enhancements becoming more and more common, the “Knives Out” actress believes the search for physical perfection is very dangerous.

“The current trend of fillers and procedures, and this obsession with filtering, and the things that we do to adjust our appearance on Zoom are wiping out generations of beauty,” she added. “Once you mess with your face, you can’t get it back.”

Curtis’ stance on plastic surgery was in part molded by watching what her famous parents, Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, went through in their legendary careers.

"I'm the child of movie stars. I watched my parents get face lifts and neck lifts," she previously told People in June.

She added: "I watched their work diminish, I watched their fame not diminish. And the contradiction of a lot of fame, but not a lot of work, is really hard to navigate for people. Very hard to be famous but not be doing the thing that made you famous. And that for the rest of your life, you're famous for something you did a long time ago, and you chase that attention."

Curtis’ career shows no signs of slowing down. She’ll reprise her role of heroine Laurie Strode in the upcoming “Halloween” sequel “Halloween Kills,” which is set to hit theaters and Peacock Premium on October 15th.

She’ll also return for the final edition of the franchise, “Halloween Ends,” which is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2022.
