Some big upsets in the NFL in Week 13 led to massive pay days for lucky — or extremely savvy and perhaps psychic — bettors, including one during the Washington Football Team's surprising victory over the previously undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers.
But as impressive as that one is, I always get more of a kick out of the bets that border on insanity. Not that placing hundreds of thousands of dollars on a Washington win over Pittsburgh isn't bordering insanity... I'd say it qualifies. But the below bets follow the usual pattern of these weekly betting stories — ridiculous parlays, dart throws and more that left social media stunned and some fortunate people with stuffed wallets.

The Seahawks were 11-point favorites, but that didn't sway one bettor from thrusting $2,000 forward and adding the G-Men, led by Colt McCoy, to a four-team parlay. The full ticket went as follows, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Of course, all four hit, with the final bet hitting by just a smidge more than two-and-a-half points. Another bettor below risked a hefty wage on the Patriots winning by an even larger amount.
This one is more impressive than the odds and the subsequent payout would indicate.
