Popular chain Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers began opening stores in Northern California in 2021 with locations in the greater Sacramento area. Now the Bay Area's first location is preparing to open at 8430 Edgewater Drive in Oakland on July 14th.

Also coming soon are a Berkeley location at 2580 Bancroft Way & a Hayward one at 26231 Mission Blvd., slated to open in 2023.
The Oakland location will be Raising Cane's 73rd in California and will be located about a five minute drive from the Oakland Coliseum. It will feature a drive-through and an outdoor patio.
The closest Raising Cane's to the Bay Area had been a newly-opened Vacaville location. Now Bay Area residents won't have make as much of a trek to get those chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast & Cane's sauce.
