The Dallas Cowboys continue to shore up the roster ahead of training camp by signing two former UFL players to contracts Tuesday.
Dallas inked deals with linebacker Willie Harvey Jr., who led the United Football League in tackles in 2024, and cornerback Gareon Conley after both players worked out with the team last week.
Harvey Jr. recorded 76 total tackles, nine tackles for loss and four sacks while helping the St. Louis Battlehawks advance to the UFL Conference championship game.
Prior to the UFL, Harvey signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State. He appeared in four games from 2019-21.
Conley, who was selected by the Las Vegas (then Oakland) Raiders with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2017 draft, returns to the NFL after not securing a second contract due to injury.
The 28 year old recorded 25 total tackles, five pass deflections, two interceptions and one fumble recovery in 2024.
