Cowboys fullback Ryan Nall out 2-4 weeks with shoulder injury

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The lone fullback on the Cowboys roster, Ryan Nall, will be sidelined for the next 2-4 weeks with a bruised shoulder, 105.3 The Fan's Bobby Belt reported Thursday.

The Cowboys recently cut fullback Nick Ralston to make room on the roster for wide receiver Kavontae Turpin, leaving Nall as their only fullback.

Nall, 26, was signed by the Cowboys in April after spending the first three seasons of his career with the Chicago Bears.

While he saw limited work in the running game, he was known as a special teams ace with the Bears, as 65-percent of his snaps came on special teams.

In 33 career regular-season games, Nall had six carries for 12 yards and caught nine passes for 71 yards and one touchdown.
