PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Steelers are going to once again be without a couple offensive weapons but another could return.
Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and tight end Vance McDonald (concussion) will not play when the Bills come to Heinz Field for a primetime game Sunday.
While Smith-Schuster was a full participant on Wednesday and was limited Thursday, he did not practice on Friday, but he says there hasn’t been a setback in his recovery.
“It wasn’t a setback, it’s just more so like, I push myself to hard, I have to settle myself down, I’m so competitive . . . I got to take it slow,” Smith-Schuster said after practice Friday.
It will be the fourth straight game Smith-Schuster has not played in.
McDonald is still dealing with a concussion after being injured in the game at Arizona last week.
James Conner, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury was a full participant in practice all week but was still listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game.
The 8:20 p.m. kickoff is the last Steelers home game this season.
