If you attended the Rangers' home-opening series this past week at Globe Life Field, you might have noticed a big change during the seventh-inning stretch.
Traditionally, after the road team bats in the seventh inning, there is a rendition of 'God Bless America' played in the park, followed by 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame,' and then 'Cotton-Eyed Joe.'
Some fans were quick to notice that the country-dancing song was eliminated from the playlist, prompting them to wonder why the tradition had changed this season. The ordeal spilled out on X, formally Twitter, and sparked a debate amongst fans about whether the song should return or not.
Shan, RJ and Bobby weighed in on the change on Tuesday's show.
