If you've watched all three parts of the new Beatles documentary "Get Back," you're either sick of the Fab Four, or you crave more. If you're like me, you can't get enough of the Beatles.
Here are some suggestions:
Eight Days A Week: The Touring Years. Produced by Ron Howard, this documentary looks at the band's touring years from 1963-66. It features never before seen footage, and had the full cooperation of Paul and Ringo, as well as Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison. Watch on Hulu.
A Hard Day's Night. The 1964 movie is not a documentary, but the story and dialog are very true to life. It's got some amazingly hilarious moments, and of course those songs! You can rent this on Amazon for $3.99, and it's available to rent other places as well.
Imagine: John Lennon. This 1988 documentary included a lot of previously unseen footage from Yoko Ono's personal archive. You can rent it for $2.99 on Amazon.
John and Yoko: Above Us Only Sky. This documentary about the creating of the Imagine album is on Netflix.
Nowhere Boy. This movie dramatizes the early years of John Lennon, and will probably make you cry. We learn about his early days with Paul and the rest of the band, and his relationship with his mom and Aunt Mimi. Free to watch with Amazon Prime.
Good Ol' Freda. This documentary is about Apple Records Secretary Freda Kelly, the Beatles beloved secretary. Another one you can find on Amazon.
The Rutles. This 1978 mockumentary is REALLY funny if you know the back story of the Beatles. You can watch this on Youtube right now (unless someone takes it down).
And here's a cool video I found of George and Ringo on a British talk show in 1988.
