We're blasting back to the 1980s for the Friday Night Flashback this week. The year is 1982, Ronald Reagan is president, but Time Magazine picks "the computer" as its Man Of The Year.
Big movies included ET: The Extraterrestrial, Sophie's Choice and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. On TV, we were still watching M*A*S*H* and Dallas, and getting acquainted with the newest late night host, David Letterman, whose show Late Night debuted in February of 1982.
Kids were going through lots of quarters at video arcades, and the NFL players strike happened...shortening the football season by 52 days. In those days, if you were a Packer fan, that was good news!
What tunes were we listening to on our Sony Walkman? Tune in Friday night at 10 to Friday Night Flashback with Amber Star.
