This week on The Friday Night Flashback, host Amber Star takes us back to the year 1988. Anybody remember that summer? It was hot here in Wisconsin, setting many records that have yet to be broken. It was also the start of a drought that was second only to The Dust Bowl.
It was a presidential election year, with George HW Bush taking on Michael Dukakis.
In 1988, Oscar Mayer Lunchables were a new thing, as was Diet Mountain Dew. Rain Man and Die Hard were popular movies, and Roseanne and The Wonder Years were brand new TV shows.
