This week’s show started with a tribute to Madison musical legend Richard Davis, who died last week at age 93. Davis was a noted bassist who came to UW-Madison in 1977, after appearing on albums by luminaries including Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, and Frank Sinatra.
He was an outspoken advocate of racial and social justice, and founded the Richard Davis Foundation for Young Bassists.
