Sure, they can be nasty little animals, but raccoons have their pride, you know.
Witness the wily little guy who got caught breaking, entering, but then getting stuck in a Dalton, Georgia home.
As People reported, firefighters were called to the home to help a raccoon get out of a tight spot he scrambled into while looking for food. Well he is a raccoon, he probably wasn’t checking out the place with intention to buy.
But then, after extricating the invasive critter, the City of Dalton Fire Department went and took his picture and posted all about it on Facebook -- and the photo is hilarious.
The cute little criminal is covering his eyes like he hopes his other, more nimble raccoon friends won’t see what a schmuck he was.
Oh, the shame!
Or maybe he’s just suspicious of the paparazzi.
In any event, adding to the rodent’s shame, the Fire Department’s post continued, in sideways concern, "As you can tell, he was pretty embarrassed about it, but it's really nothing to be ashamed of. We all need a helping hand every now and then."
True, but come on guys, isn’t he embarrassed enough?
After nabbing the furry felon, they safely led it back out into the wild. "Hopefully," the post read, "[he'll] be less adventurous in his search for snacks from now on."
But I bet he won’t be showing his face around the forest for a minute.
