ROLE MODEL on 'Sally, When The Wine Runs Out' and chasing music video stars in the mall

'It is a person, the name Sally is not the name of said person'

"Can I call you ROLE?" asks Kevin Ryder, as ROLE MODEL joined the host in the Los Angeles studios of KROQ. Assuring him that Tucker would be fine, the two talked about the hit "Sally, When The Wine Runs Out," ROLE MODEL's early rap career, and how they got people in the mall to agree to be in his music video.

Tucker, or as you may know him as ROLE MODEL, and his hit "Sally, When The Wine Runs Out," appears to be everywhere. However at the time of filming the music video, it still took some convincing to bystanders in the mall to be a part of the party.

"After every take, we would have to go and chase them down to get a release form and be like, 'hey, we're filming a video,'" ROLE MODEL reveals about the visual of him dancing around the mall. "I was very surprised at how many yeses we got, and how many signatures, and how many people were just OK with being in some random music video of a kid."

"We had like 3 people that would go and chase them down. I think their pitch was just like, 'hey, we were filming a music video. I think you were in it a little bit. Could we just get a release form so that we can show your face.'" But for the blurred faces in the background, including the guy that got up and left immediately, "They're still chasing him," he jokes.

ROLE MODEL also confirmed that there is indeed a Sally, that's just not her name. "It is a person," he shares. "The name Sally is not the name of said person."
