We always hear or read stories about the "entitled millennial generation" well here's another story to drive home the point.
This 30 something female called 911 several times to report her parents had taken her off their phone plan. They are no longer paying for her phone and she couldn't handle it.
36-year-old Seloni Khetarpal demanded immediate action from local police over her phone crisis which she called a "legitimate issue!"
According to The Canton Repository, Khetarpal repeatedly called the Regional Emergency Dispatch Center on Feb. 13 to report the situation. The Repository reported that Khetarpal became “belligerent” when dispatchers told her to stop calling that her call was not an emergency.
Law enforcement did step in when Khetarpal failed to get the message. Massillon police officers arrested her and charged her with disrupting public services, which is a fourth-degree felony.
No word on whether her parents bailed her out and/or have added her back to their phone plan. If they want their 36 year old daughter to grow up, I would not appease her by adding her back to their phone plan and let her sit in jail to think of her life. Unbelievable. ~grace
