It's no mystery that Stabler's coming back, but that doesn't mean fans aren't excited by every sneak peek they can get.

Christopher Meloni is set to reprise his iconic role as Elliot Stabler in a new "Law & Order" spinoff, "Law & Order: Organized Crime."

On Thursday, the NBC show's official Twitter account teased the 59-year-old actor's return in a brand new promo.

“It’s time to make things right. Stabler comes home, April 1 on @NBC,” the caption read.

In the dramatic clip, Stabler can be seen making his way through the city in a mini-montage of action shots set against overlays of police lights and a moody, blue-tinged urban landscape.

"I have a paid for my mistakes," Stabler's says in a gruffy voiceover, "but I won't let that hold me back. I will keep moving forward. Now, it's time to make things right. The world's changed."

"And so have I," he concludes as the camera zooms in on his face grinning into the night.

Fans on Twitter were overjoyed at the new clip.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH," one exclaimed.

"HELP HELP IM@NOT OKAY," another wrote.

"God bless you!!! This is starting my vacation off right," wrote another user.

After a 10-year hiatus from the show, Meloni is returning to the NYPD to take on organized crime, and will have learn to adapt to quite of few changes since he last worked on the force while also working to rebuild is own life. He will work alongside Mariska Hargitay, who has headlined the series since its launch in 1999.

The highly anticipated “Organized Crime” was first set to premiere as part of NBC’s Fall 2020 schedule, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“We had heard distant thunder about Chris Meloni coming back in the fall and we were going to lay a little groundwork for that,” SVU showrunner Warren Leight said in a previous interview. “We were going to see [his wife] Kathy Stabler come back very upset. Her son had been rolled by a team of ne'er-do-wells and may have been drugged, and we were going to revisit [Benson’s half-brother] Simon's seeming overdose and we were going to get to know the stresses on the Stablers -- what had happened to the Stabler family after Elliot both left SVU and apparently left them.”

Fans can watch the series premiere of "Law & Order: Organized Crime" on Thursday, April 1 at 10/9c on NBC or on the streaming service Peacock.
