Sunday night was bitter sweet. I had been wanting to meet Alda Agustiano aka Chong The Nomad for some time and it was great ot finally have her on the show. However her manager and all around good dude Austin Santiago came with (that's a good thing) and filled us in on his relocation plans to LA (that's the bitter part).
Alda shared storeis of how she got started in music, how her colaboration with Flint Eastwood came together and talked about her newly released remix of "When We Drive" by Death Cab For Cutie. Oh, and she also told the wildest story about her equipment not working on stage until about two songs into her set opening for Death Cab and Odesza at the Double Major event in Bellingham last month. I was dying inside listening to the story but it all turned out to be a big win.
Alda and Austin brought tracks from artists you'll certainly be hearing a lot more on Locals Only in the weeks to come.
