I want to open this by being clear: all of Funko is not leaving Washington. In a sad move for the warehouse nerds, the plastic Pop! makers are moving their fulfillment and distribution department to surface-of-the-sun-hot* Arizona. It's a move I first read about via Geekwire that hurts my heart.
But wait! Things you don't have to worry about: Funko is keeping their base of operations in Everett and continuing to invest in supporting the local scene. Hopefully that means they'll keep the naming rights for Funko Field, home turf of the Everett Aquasox! They're hoping to find positions within the organizations for the people affected or get em transferred to Buckeye, AZ, where you can still be close enough to see the Seahawks play once a season but with almost no rain ever.
