So, what's the best teriyaki around Seattle?

Toshi's invented Seattle Style, but what's your favorite?

I had no idea the day I randomly walked into a local teriyaki spot in my then new neighborhood near Mill Creek that I was stepping foot in what would become my favorite joint for the incredible simplicity of meat over rice with the sweet sauce on the side. Toshi's Teriyaki is my jam and they have a long history of killing it all around the greater Seattle area.

"Toshi Kasahara, a wrestler from a rural farming town in Japan, immigrated to Seattle and opened the city’s first teriyaki shop on March 2, 1976. The menu had only 5 items, featuring a chicken teriyaki plate for $1.85 and chicken-beef combo for $2.10."

I'm pretty sure this came about subliminally and was later pointed out to me by my Twitter pal Dave that the Sixty-Five-Thousand-Dollar-Man, Nouhou Tolo of Seattle Sounders FC had been banging on about spicy teriyaki and post match post victory delivered whatever this is:

I know it on good source that the front office of SSFC at one time frequented a spot around the corner that had the best spicy chicken and the way this kid has played this season, you get him however much of that #ExtraMeatExtraRice as he wants!

I watched my friend eat the most suspect gyoza/katsu combo night after night at work never wanted to touch any of that, but now here we are with me on Twitter asking people for their favorite spot.

So what is it? As we approach the next mid-day meal, a time where with my stupid schedule it's basically happy hour, where should we go to get fed the best teriyaki?
