Beekeeper Elish Bixler told FOX 13 that the owners of the home knew there was a beehive in the bathroom wall, but weren’t too concerned at first. Then the bees started coming out through the cracks, and the husband was stung.

That’s when the couple contacted Bixler.

"I have a heat thermal gun and the hive was pretty large. As soon as I started breaking away the tile, I realized how massive this colony was," Bixler said.

She says there was 100 pounds of honey in the wall, and roughly 80,000 bees in the hive.

Once the beekeeper got the queen, she was able to take the entire colony back to her bee farm.
