Arctic Monkeys reportedly travel with a pop-up portable bar because of course they do

Professionals that they are, the Arctic Monkeys apparently subscribe to the old adage “Have bar, will travel,’ as it was recently revealed that the British band travels with their very own portable pub.

In a new Far Out interview with Irish rockers Inhaler, it has come to light that, apparently, the Arctic Monkeys carry with them while on the road a portable pop-up bar. The band has been providing opening support for the Monkeys since last year, and frontman Eli Hewson revealed that "[Arctic Monkeys] were telling me about this flight case, which has a lamp in, a table, so they bring the bar with them," adding, "they were like, 'Get one of these as soon as you can. It’ll make any drab room feel mint.'"

It's more than likely Arctic Monkeys will be packing up their bar when they return to the States in late 2023 with Fontaines D.C. providing opening duties beginning in August. See a full list of currently scheduled North American dates below. Tickets are available now via Live Nation.
