DA Krasner Refuses Subpoenas from Impeachment Investigative Committee

Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by telling some exciting news centered on the impeachment proceedings of Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. Giordano reveals that the District Attorney’s office has denied a request for subpoenas by the committee investigating the spike in crime in Philadelphia, arguing that he was duly elected. Giordano explains what happened here, telling that this is actually good news for those hoping for an eventual impeachment, telling that non-compliance here on further digs a hole for the sullied politician. Then, Giordano moves into a conversation centered on mail-in ballots, expressing his frustration with State Republicans who allowed the unsafe voting trend in a trade for an elimination of straight-ticket voting.

Then, Megan Brock, mother in the Central Bucks School District, returns to the Dom Giordano Program with more information on why and how Health Director David Damsker has been silenced since offering lax restrictions during the Coronavirus. Last time Megan joined the show, she told us that, using Freedom of Information request, she discovered that after Damsker released his less restrictive edicts, Eric Nagy, the Director of Policy and Communications silenced the recommendations and instead imposed more restrictive Coronavirus guidelines, with no medical input. After uncovering the re-written guideline edict, the Bucks County GOP called for the resignation of Nagy. Strangely, the Philadelphia Inquirer continues to turn a blind eye to this story, but Brock tells that both the National Review and Judicial Watch has become involved, explaining that Judicial Watch has even offered representation for the legal battles to come. Brock takes us inside her investigation, and tells about the pushback she’s faced both from school officials and some in the public who have been convinced that Brock has ulterior motives.

Dems Need To Focus On High Tuition, Not Forgiveness

In today’s second hour, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the push by the Biden administration to extend the two-year long pause on federal student loan debt, and the potential for student loan forgiveness. Giordano and his producer Dan spend a chunk of time discussing the proposition for student loan forgiveness, with Dan expressing frustration that the Left still refuses to direct their anger toward colleges and universities. Then, Giordano loops back to the topic he discussed at the top of the show, telling that District Attorney Larry Krasner has refused subpoenas related to the state investigation into the gun violence in Philadelphia.
Producer Dan pops in with breaking news, telling that the Philadelphia Inquirer has finally picked up the story, with Dan thanking the author of the article for fair coverage after repeated instances of favor shown toward the politician by the paper. Then, a caller by the name of Scott in Mt. Laurel tells Dom that he’s won an auction that allows him to sit in and call play-by-play on the upcoming television broadcast of the Philadelphia Phillies.

PA Rep. Schemel Explains Opposition Against Allowing Independent Votes in Primaries

In today’s third hour, Dom welcomes Pennsylvania Representative Paul Schemel to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a state-wide push to allow Independent voters to vote in party primaries in Pennsylvania.
This week, former elected officials and experts noted that Pennsylvania disenfranchises 1.3 million people by not allowing Independents to vote in party primaries. Schemel tells why he’s against such a notion, explaining that he would like to leave it up to the parties rather than allow the government to demand how parties run their primaries. Schemel reveals that there are two bills awaiting the General Assembly that would set forth such a change, and tells the negative aspects of allowing such an edict.

Then, State Representative Martina White checks into the Dom Giordano Program to offer her opinion on the decision by Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner to deny the subpoena from the select committee investigating the DA’s role in a spike in gun violence in Philadelphia. White takes us inside the committee and what’s being said today in Harrisburg, revealing why Republicans continue the push to bring safety back to the citizens of Pennsylvania.

After that, Wildwood Mayor Pete Byron joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss what’s been going on in the great shore destination. First, Dom asks Pete for an update on his last interview, where he teased potentially jumping out of a plane in a skydiving event in Wildwood. Then, Dom asks Pete about the marijuana laws of New Jersey, lamenting about a group of young adults who were smoking a bong on the beach.
