Germantown Car Jacking Keeps Dom Up All Night

Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by updating the situation on crime in and around Philadelphia, revealing that he’s learned there may be a big decision from New York Mayor-Elect Eric Adams concerning his choice for Police Chief, which has implications on Philadelphia since current Commissioner Danielle Outlaw is allegedly one of the finalists for the position. Then, Giordano gives an update on the heightened crime itself, discussing an incident yesterday where a 6-year-old child was kidnapped in a carjacking. The child was safely recovered, but in the reporting, it came out that the parent had left the car running while running into a pizza shop, which led to the crime. Dom argues with Dan whether there is ever an appropriate time to leave a child alone in a car, explaining that he does support leaving kids behind if it’s under 5 minutes and the doors are locked.
Callers chime in, offering their opinion on the debate, and Dom asks where the line should be drawn. Also, Dom asks listeners for a fictional character they’d hire as a bodyguard, and discusses the Fox News Christmas tree, which was set on fire yesterday.

More Democrats Turn Out Against Krasner

Dom leads off today’s second hour by continuing the discussion from the first, discussing the heightened crime in Philadelphia and the harmful policies of DA Larry Krasner. Before circling back, though, Dom takes a detour to discuss national politics, revealing a poll that shows Trump has a strong chance for the Hispanic vote in a duel with Joe Biden. Then, returning back to local issues, Dom plays back a clip from the show earlier this year, in which former PA Governor and Philadelphia Mayor Ed Rendell spoke out against the Philadelphia DA, adding another Mayor to the list of those willing to speak out against the current District Attorney. After that, Dom switches gears to discuss the national debate over whether women should be added to the draft rolls for the military, asking why anybody would support such an edict. Then, Giordano discusses international issues, dissecting the situation unfolding in Russia as it looks like the country prepares to invade neighboring Ukraine, and asks listeners whether the United States should send athletes to Beijing for the coming Olympics.

Senator Pat Toomey Offers Stance On Women In The Military Draft

In today’s third hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by circling back to the topic that dominated the first hour, asking whether or not there is ever a time to leave a child alone in a car, after a carjacking yesterday in Germantown in which a 6 year old was kidnapped after being left in a running car by her parent. Dom tells that he would support leaving a child in a locked car, but the mother who left her child in the car unlocked and running should be charged with negligence.

Then, halfway through the hour, Senator Pat Toomey returns to the Dom Giordano Program for his regular monthly check-in, to discuss issues playing out on Capitol Hill. First, Giordano asks Toomey for his thoughts on whether the country should send athletes to Beijing for the upcoming Olympic games. Toomey notes that the situation with China is unlike any we’ve ever seen, and tells the difficulty in determining the best course in moving forward with the situation. Then, Giordano asks Toomey for his opinion on an argument that’s rising on Capitol Hill, being the debate over whether women should be added to the mandatory draft roll. In addition, Toomey dissects the Russia/Ukraine situation, telling whether he believes a potential invasion is Biden’s fault, and tells how he believes Russia should be dealt with.
