A Gas Tax Holiday Won’t Work, Ramp Up Production!

Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the different strategies presented to keep gas prices low while continuing the show of strength against Russia as the rabid Vladimir Putin invades Ukraine. Giordano brings up New Jersey Congressman Donald Norcross’s suggestion of a gas tax holiday to combat the spike in prices, arguing that the better option is to ramp up domestic oil production. In addition, Giordano reveals an update in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court battle over mail-in balloting, telling that justices have now used race to try and make their arguments.

People's Convoy Checks In, Fauci Investigation Causes Cancellation at Forbes

In today’s second hour, Giordano leads off by welcoming in Diane Coughlin of the People’s Convoy of Delaware County. First, Giordano asks Coughlin about an upcoming peaceful demonstration showing support for the Convoy, which Coughlin tells will take place on 5PM on Friday outside the Fox29 Studio at 330 Market Street in Philadelphia, PA. Coughlin explains that the purpose of the demonstration is to propagate the end of unconstitutional mandates, end the media silence, and cover the People’s Convoy.

Then, Adam Andrzejewski, CEO of OpentheBooks.com, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss how a fact-finding mission centered on Dr. Anthony Fauci led to his cancellation at Forbes. First, Giordano asks Andrzejewski about the situation, with Adam telling about an investigation into Fauci’s financials by filing FOIA requests. After fact-finding on the financials, Andrzejewski alleges that the National Institute of Health levied a complaint against the continued focus on Fauci by Forbes, leading to the brass at Forbes to pull the column from their publication.

What Are The Answers For Skyrocketing Gas Prices?

In today’s third hour, Giordano leads off by revealing an NBC News report about the skyrocketing gas prices in the country as economic sanctions strengthen on Russia as they invade Ukraine. In the piece, Hayes Brown writes that Republicans are lying when they talk about gas prices, and blames Americans dependency on oil as a main contributor to the situation in which we find ourselves. Giordano then plays his Money Melody for the day, then returns to a conversation centered on the skyrocketing gas prices both in Pennsylvania and nationwide.

Then, Senator Pat Toomey checks in for his monthly appearance on the Dom Giordano Program, this time discussing multiple issues playing out both locally and nationwide. First, Giordano gets Toomey’s opinion on the Democratic proposal of a gas tax holiday, with Toomey shooting back telling the way to go is instead ramping up domestic production. Also, Toomey tells about a visit he shared with Ukrainian President Zelensky, explaining what he’s learned from the meeting and revealing what Ukrainians need to push back against Putin and Russia. In addition, Toomey offers his opinion on the Biden’s newest SCOTUS nominee.
