Monica Crowley On Biden's Economic Policies

Monica Crowley, former assistant secretary of the Treasury for public affairs during the Trump administration, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a piece she penned for The Hill, which discusses the differences in economic approach of the Biden and Trump administration. Crowley and Giordano discuss the negative economic impact that Biden’s insistence of reversing Trump-era ‘America First’ policies have had on the economic health of the country, pointing to massive spending packages that are sold as positives. Then, Giordano and Crowley offer their thoughts on the messaging strategy that Republicans should employ to counter the continued negative economic trends.

Dr. Marty Makary With Another Coronavirus Update

Dr. Marty Makary, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine & School of Public Health Professor, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss and update the performance of our country during COVID. Dr. Marty recently added a new amendment to his New York Times bestselling book, The Price We Pay, focusing directly on Coronavirus and the governmental response to the pandemic. Dom and Dr. Marty first discuss the origin of Coronavirus after Dr. Fauci made headlines over the weekend for admitting that he’d like to see an investigation into the origin of the virus. This turns into a conversation of Senator Rand Paul’s stance on investigating the virus, after he was lambasted both by Fauci and the media for questioning the origin of the virus. After that, Makary and Giordano debate whether or not children should get the vaccine, with Giordano asking Makary what he would do for his own children.

Jeff Bartos Throws His Hat Into The Senate Ring

Jeff Bartos, candidate for United States Senate in Pennsylvania, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his entry into a race that’s chock full of hyper-progressive candidates. First, Bartos explains his goals in running for office, noting that the campaign was borne out of comments made after his PA 30 Day Fund launch, which hopes to help save as many Pennsylvania jobs as possible while small businesses await federal funding. Bartos explains what the Wolf administration has done to negatively impact businesses in the state, and takes a look at comparisons between Wolf’s leadership and the leadership of Republicans such as Ron DeSantis in Florida, who’s kept his state largely open throughout the pandemic. Also, Bartos discusses the radicalization of the Democrat party, explaining the effect that such policies being propagated would have on the state. Finally, Giordano and Bartos discuss the conflict playing out between Israel and Palestine after speaking this past weekend at a pro-Israel march held by the Zionist Organization of America’s Philadelphia chapter.
