Steve Keeley On What's Become The Norm In And Around Philadelphia

Steve Keeley, ace reporter for Philadelphia’s Fox 29, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss two developing situations that he uncovered in and around the city. First, Giordano and Keeley discuss a situation in Whitemarsh, in which an assailant, Reynaldo Figueroa-Ardon, held a stolen gun to a police officer’s head and pulled the trigger three times. It turns out that Figueroa-Ardon had participated in a week-long crime spree spanning South Jersey and Pennsylvania, but cannot be deported back to his home country of El Salvador due to his DACA status. Then, Keeley and Giordano discuss a situation that allegedly unfolded at Market and Washington streets, in which a member of the Mad Max-like dirt bike and ATV gangs of Philadelphia attacked and drew a gun on a person who accidentally hit him.

Neal Zoren Tells Us What's On TV

Entertainment critic Neal Zoren rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to tell us what’s worth watching on TV. First, Giordano and Zoren give their thoughts on the rotation of Jeopardy hosts after the passing of Alex Trebek, now with Katie Couric, Michael Richards, and Ken Jennings having multiple hosting gigs under their belt. Also, Zoren and Giordano discuss the upcoming Genius: Aretha, which examines the life and career of Aretha Franklin, released on Disney+ through the National Geographic channel. Finally, Zoren gives his suggestions for things to watch that went under the radar that listeners should go back and watch, including Master of None, The Night Manager and Bodyguard.

Marsha Blackburn Wants Answers From The NBA On China Relations

Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss her ongoing push to hold China accountable for their repeated human rights violations. Last week, Blackburn wrote a two-page letter to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, voicing concerns about the working relationship between the basketball league and the communist country. Blackburn runs through the questions that she’d like answered by the commissioner, explaining the horrific conditions that Chinese workers face, to which the NBA continues to turn a blind eye. Then, Blackburn explains why she’s against China holding the Olympics, and suggests the United States holds their own titled ‘The Patriot Games.’
