New Study Forces Hands Of Those Against 3-Feet Social Distancing
Dr. David Damsker, Director of the Bucks County Health Department, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to provide some hope in the face of the Coronavirus. Last week, researchers concluded that lowering social distancing policies in school settings from the 6 feet guidance would not pose a significant difference in any type of health risk for both students and teachers. The new study has forced the hands of officials such as Fauci to address the science that there is indeed a way to safely reopen. This notion has been something that Director Damsker has been advocating for on the Dom Giordano Program for the past year, noting that schools can indeed get closer to opening if they were to lessen the social distancing restriction.
Frank Farry Provides Update On Vaccine Distribution
Frank Farry, the Pennsylvania representative who joined the Dom Giordano Program last week after a failed phone call with state officials over vaccine distribution in the state, which has left suburban Philadelphia counties far behind the rest of Pennsylvania, rejoins the show. Farry has been negotiating with the health department since Tuesday after writing a letter that forced state officials to the table. In the letter, Farry noted multiple questions that he wanted answered by the state, such as ‘who developed the COVID index’ and other specificities that drill down on the distribution operations. Farry is hopeful that, because a real conversation has actually begun, the state will work to better the distribution strategy, but is still somewhat hesitant that anything will actually change.
'No Left Turn In Education' Continues To Grow
Gabrielle Clark and Dr. Elana Fishbein join the Dom Giordano Program to discuss Gabrielle’s story. Clark, a mother from Nevada, was shocked when her son came home one day and told her that he had to identify as white, and was given a label as an oppressor, in a lesson for his “Sociology of Change” course at his Las Vegas school. Clark is black and her husband is white. This type of lesson is one that’s becoming common in schools, which is part of the Critical Race Theory that’s being forced upon students in schools.
Dr. Fishbein created her organization, No Left Turn in Education, to fight back against the spread of Critical Race Theory, which in itself is an incredibly divisive and racist way of looking at race.
