Andy McCarthy, Heather Mac Donald Join Giordano for Analysis on Nichols Tragedy

Developments in Houck Case; Dom Could Throw Better than 49ers QBs

Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the death of Tyre Nichols in Memphis after the body camera footage of his beating was released, immediately going viral and stoking conversation about police brutality. Dom plays back audio from Al Sharpton who tried continuing to divide by making the issue again about Race, and plays comments made by President Joe Biden about an upcoming bill dedicated to honoring George Floyd. Dom spends the majority of the hour discussing the horrific situation, but also offers his analysis on the Eagles game, explaining why he thinks 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is overhyped and why he should’ve subbed Dom in the game as Quarterback.

Then, Dom welcomes Bucks County Courier reporter JD Mullane for an update on the case against Mark Houck in federal court, telling that the jury is currently hung as the trial hits lunch break after resuming after the weekend today. Closing arguments have been made, now the public just waits for the decision of a jury to decide whether Houck is guilty of assaulting a Planned Parenthood escort after an exchange of words.

In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Fox News Legal Expert Andy McCarthy back onto the Dom Giordano Program to break down the horrific situation in Memphis and the body cam footage released showing the beating death of Tyre Nichols at the hands of 5 police officers. McCarthy takes us inside how Washington D.C. will respond to the incident, explaining what might be ordered from Capitol Hill in effort to enforce safer interactions with Police.

Then, Dom tells about a DUI given to a local politician that is often talked about on the show, giving details of the incident and reflecting on why she’s been a common theme throughout Coronavirus.  After that, Dom tells that Bill Maher will start broadcasting on CNN, debate with Dan whether Maher will continue with his brand of harsh criticism of all, or whether he’ll fall in line with other CNN hosts and spew progressive propaganda. Also, Dan Time with Dom, Dan complains about an experience he had at a local café, and gripes about the price of a trip to see the Eagles play in the Super Bowl.

In today’s third hour, Dom leads off by offering up the newest developments in offensive language, telling that the organization that tried taking ‘The French’ off the table has backtracked a bit. Then, Dom gives an update in both the Houck case and the death of Tyre Nichols in Memphis. After that, Dom tells that school dress codes are further under fire, explaining why he’s in favor of a dress code but not uniforms.

Then, Dom welcomes in Heather Mac Donald, Thomas W. Smith Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of The War on Cops and The Diversity Delusion to gather her thoughts about the Tyre Nichols incident and the ensuing media coverage. Mac Donald offers her analysis of the continued effort by the media to transform the horrific incident into a racial divider, offering up what she believes Leftist media outlets and personalities have to gain by promoting racial rife.
