SWAT Officers Shot During Warrant in North Philadelphia

Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing developments centered around the Philadelphia Police Department, offering updates on the breaking story today of an assailant who fired on SWAT officers during a warrant, playing back a clip from PPD Deputy Commissioner John Stanford, who spoke about the lack of accountability as a causation of what we’re seeing play out on Philadelphia streets. Then, Giordano plays back commentary from MSNBC after a John Fetterman interview, in which reporter Dasha Burns suggests that Fetterman has been affected by the stroke, having trouble with conversations. Giordano continues on the topic of the shooting of Philadelphia SWAT officers, with Producer Dan reading back press releases from both DA Larry Krasner and Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw.

McNesby Comments on Shooting of SWAT Officers in North Philadelphia

Then, Dom welcomes FOP Lodge 5 President John McNesby back onto the Dom Giordano Program after the horrible situation that played out in North Philadelphia today, with multiple SWAT officers shot but thankfully not facing life-threatening injuries. First, though, Giordano gets McNesby’s thoughts on the decision regarding Ryan Pownall’s case, an officer involved in a police-involved shooting while on duty, who had his case thrown out after a judge deemed Krasner’s prosecution ‘incompetent.’ Then, Giordano and McNesby swing over into a conversation centered on the shooting of the SWAT officers, with McNesby explaining how Krasner’s office has normalized this type of violence and rhetoric against police.

Former MontCo Commissioner Mike Marino Wants Columbus Day Back in MontCo

In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes former Montgomery County Commissioner Mike Marino back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his frustration with those leading the county after their treatment and cancellation of the Columbus Day holiday. Marino recently tried to speak up at a community meeting, hoping to express his disappointment, and was given the runaround. Marino explains why, as an Italian-American, he holds the day in such high regard, and explains why he believes politics have weighed into their scheduling decisions.

If You Want Safety, You Can’t Elect Fetterman

Then, Giordano launches into a conversation about the midterm elections, weighing John Fetterman against Dr. Mehmet Oz, tying the continued spike in violence to policies perpetuated by radical progressives such as Fetterman. Then, Producer Dan reveals some breaking news around a horrific shooting outside Roxborough High School, telling that the first person involved has been arrested, 21 year old Yaaseen Bivens, and that Bivens was arrested two years ago for the death of an unborn child and was let to go free after a bench trial.

‘I’m Not White, I’m Italian’

In today’s third hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by telling of a situation that unfolded in the Mayoral debate in Los Angeles, with a moderator calling the Republican candidate a white man, with the candidate, Republican Rick Caruso, correcting the record to tell that he’s Italian, which makes him Latin. This notion cracks Dom up, with the host telling why and how he’ll be using that himself moving forward. Then, Dom talks about Tulsi Gabbard’s departure from the Democratic Party, asking listeners who were a Democrat once why they themselves decided to leave the party. Then, Giordano plays back clips from reporter Dasha Burns, who sat down with Fetterman in his first face-to-face interview, with the reporter telling an NBC host that the Fetterman camp refuses to release medical records.

Bucks County Mom Tells Why She Had To Leave Democratic Party

Then, Dom welcomes Bucks County mother Jamie Cohen Walker onto the Dom Giordano Program, to discuss a Delaware Valley Journal article focusing on her fight and eventual win against Josh Shapiro in the state Supreme Court. In the article, Linda Stein writes that Jamie Cohen Walker is a former moderate Democrat who recently took a second look at her party after the ridiculous COVID edicts forced upon schools by Democratic officials. Giordano asks about her case against Shapiro, which she says is rooted in the edicts set forth and damages done to children in keeping schools closed with no influence from medical professionals.
