Readin', Writin', and Reason with Dom Giordano | Episode 27

Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards. This week, Dom spends time speaking with those in the know, people who have experienced much of what we're seeing first-hand before, and have fought back in their own ways. First, Dom speaks again with Clarice Schillinger, President of the Back to School PA PAC, for an update on the half million dollars that has been earmarked for grassroots efforts to push back against overbearing school boards. Since the culmination and announcement of the Back to School PA initiative, over 40 advocates have reached out, with Clarice interviewing over 30 candidates for $10,000 checks throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Then, Giordano speaks with Attorney Bruce Afran about his new group Free NJ Kids, who have decided to sue New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, hoping to prevent mask mandates for students in the state of New Jersey.
