Todd Bensman with an Immigration Update after Spending Time in Mexico
Todd Bensman, Senior National Security Fellow for the Center for Immigration Studies, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program for another update on the crisis playing out at the border. Bensman, who spends his livelihood at the border working on issues of immigration, has spent the past two days in Piedras Negras, Mexico, talking to migrants and refugees coming to the United States/Mexico border. Bensman updates what the Mexican government is doing on their side to curb the influx of immigrants coming over the border illegally, telling of the forceful nature that Mexico's immigration services uses on those in their country illegally.
Steve Keeley on Chipotle Incident and PA Supreme Court
Steve Keeley, ace report for Fox 29, returns to the Dom Giordano Program for an update on multiple issues pertaining to criminality in and around Philadelphia. First, Giordano and Keeley discuss an incident that played out at a Philadelphia Chipotle yesterday. After being told the restaurant would have to close early, a patron pulled a gun and forced workers to complete her order. Keely provides a report on the situation, with Giordano pontificating on what would lead to such an incident. In addition, Keeley and Giordano update a PA Supreme Court case involving a potential death penalty over the killing of a Newtown Borough police officer in 2005. Also, Keeley provides an update on the story involving a SEPTA revenue agent who allegedly assaulted a passenger inside a SEPTA station, and tells of another drive-by mass shooting last night near the Philadelphia Zoo.
