The Bears have all but officially ruled Trubisky out against the Raiders in London this Sunday. Before practice at Halas Hall, coach Matt Nagy reiterated the team's hope that Trubisky can return ahead of the Bears hosting the Saints on Oct. 20. Chicago has a bye next week.
"Just rehabbing," Nagy said. "He’ll just be rehabbing. Every day right now for him, he’s attacking it, along with Andre Tucker, our trainer. They’re taking every minute to use it to get back as fast as possible."
Before leaving for London on Thursday evening, the Bears revealed that receiver Taylor Gabriel (concussion) and guard Ted Larsen (knee) won't travel with the team for the trip. Beyond that, the injury report Thursday was identical to Wednesday's, with defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (knee), defensive lineman Bilal Nichols (hand), linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe (hamstring), Gabriel and Larsen not practicing.
