Blackhawks Sign Chad Krys To 3-Year Deal

(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have signed defenseman Chad Krys to a three-year contract, they announced Monday. 

Drafted in the second round by Chicago in 2016, Krys recently completed his junior season at Boston University, where he had eight goals and 20 assists in 30 games. Krys' will be under contract through 2021-'22 at an average annual value of $925,000.

Krys, who turns 21 in April, previously spent time with the United State national team development program before attending Boston. He won a bronze medal with Team USA at the 2016 World Junior Championship.
