Delia's cap hit will be $1 million annually. He has a 6-2-3 record, a 2.98 goals against average and a .923 save percentage in 12 games this season. His save percentage ranks 12th in the NHL.
Delia, 24, joined the Blackhawks as an undrafted free agent in July 2017. He made his NHL debut near the end of the 2017-'18 season while spending most of that campaign at AHL Rockford.
Delia was recalled this past Dec. 17 and has taken on a key role with starting goalie Corey Crawford sidelined by a concussion. He was on a path to restricted free agency before the Blackhawks locked him up on his new deal.
In another transaction Monday, the Blackhawks recalled forward Dylan Sikura from AHL Rockford.
