(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have signed forward Dominik Kubalik to a one-year deal worth $925,000, they announced Wednesday morning.

Kubalik, 23, played for HC Ambrí-Piotta of the National League -- Switzerland's top tier -- this past season, recording 57 points (25 goals, 32 assists). Previously, Kubalik had played for  HC Plzen of the Czech Extraliga and also the Sudbury Wolves and Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League. He also has national team experience with the Czech Republic, most recently at the 2019 World Championships, where he scored six goals in eight games.

The Blackhawks acquired Kubalik from the Kings in a trade in January. Los Angeles drafted him in the seventh round in 2013.
