(670 The Score) Bulls power forward Bobby Portis is set to return against the Nets on Sunday after missing the past seven games with a right ankle sprain that he suffered on Dec. 19, coach Jim Boylen said.

"Bobby will be available," Boylen said.

"I have not got a minutes restriction yet on that. He'll still do a little more work after we're done (today), and we'll see how he responds."

Portis practiced in full Saturday. He's averaging 11.9 points and 8.0 rebounds in 24.4 minutes across nine games. Portis missed a long stretch earlier in the season with an MCL sprain.

His return to his usual sixth man role could mean that Jabari Parker falls out of the rotation once again. Parker played 14 minutes in an overtime loss to the Pacers on Friday, his first action since Dec. 13. Parker also remains on the trade block.

"We'll see," Boylen said when asked of Parker's role.

Acquired from the Grizzlies in a trade of Justin Holiday on Thursday night, wing Wayne Selden will be available as well, Boylen said, though he'll likely need more time to get assimilated with the Bulls' system before taking the floor.

"He's learning our system, he's going to script right now and just work on his conditioning," Boylen said. "He's been out for a couple of days."
