(670 The Score) Bulls forward Jabari Parker has left the team after a death in his family and will miss the game at the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday evening, the Sun-Times reported.

After finishing their road trip Saturday, the Bulls return home and don't play again until Wednesday, when they host the Pelicans.

Parker is averaging 14.3 points and 6.2 rebounds. After falling out of new coach Jim Boylen's rotation shortly after Boylen took over in December, Parker has re-established himself in a reserve role lately, scoring at least 11 points in eight of his past nine games.

Bulls guard Zach LaVine practiced Friday as he continues to deal with ankle soreness. Wing Wayne Selden is expected to be a game-time decision Saturday as he deals with a knee ailment, the Sun-Times reported.
