The Bears don't believe that Miller's injury will linger into the regular season, which begins for Chicago against Green Bay at Soldier Field on Sept. 5.
"Coming away there, we got pretty fortunate," Nagy said.
Entering his second season, Miller suffered the injury while catching a pass as he worked in a one-on-one drill. Miller underwent offseason surgery to repair a left shoulder tear, with the recovery lasting through the offseason program.
Miller led all NFL rookies with seven touchdown receptions last season.
