CHICAGO (670 The Score) -- Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is officially active and will make his return Sunday afternoon as his team hosts the Saints at Soldier Field.

Trubisky has been sidelined since suffering a left shoulder injury in the first quarter of the Bears' win over the Vikings on Sept. 29. He practiced in full during the week of work at Halas Hall and is expected to wear a harness on his non-throwing shoulder.

The 25-year-old Trubisky has completed 65.1 percent of his passes for 588 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in parts of four games. Backup quarterback Chase Daniel started in Trubisky's place in the Bears' loss to the Raiders in London on Oct. 6.

The Bears' inactives were cornerback Duke Shelley, linebacker Josh Woods, linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis, guard Alex Bars, defensive lineman Jonathan Harris, tight end Bradley Sowell and receiver Riley Ridley.

The Saints ruled out star running back Alvin Kamara, tight end Jared Cook and quarterback Drew Brees on Friday. Backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will start for a fifth consecutive game.

Kickoff between the Bears (3-2) and Saints (5-1) comes at 3:25 p.m. CT from Soldier Field.
