Bears Sign UDFA TE Jesper Horsted

(670 The Score) The Bears have signed undrafted free agent tight end Jesper Horsted, Princeton's career leader in receptions and receiving touchdowns. In a corresponding move, the team waived offensive lineman Tommy Doles, a Northwestern product.

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Horsted was listed by the Bears as a tight end, though he played wide receiver at Princeton. His 196 career receptions and 28 receiving touchdowns set records for the Princeton program. Horsted was part of the Bears' rookie minicamp on a tryout basis two weekends ago.

Doles had signed with the Bears after a tryout in rookie minicamp. He started the at Northwestern in the past three seasons.
