(670 The Score) The Bears will lose a key special teams presence in free agency, with receiver Josh Bellamy set to sign a two-year deal with the Jets, a source confirmed.

The agreement was first reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Media and will become official Wednesday at 3 p.m. with the start of the new league year. It leaves the Bears without a reserve receiver and important member of their special teams units.

Bellamy, 29, had been with the Bears since 2014. He has 76 career receptions for 999 yards and five touchdowns, all coming with Chicago. He also played one season with the Chiefs and 49ers prior to arriving with the Bears.

The Bears re-signed tight end Ben Braunecker on Monday morning and also reached agreements with running back Mike Davis and cornerback Buster Skrine later in the day.
