LOS ANGELES (AP) — Clippers coach Doc Rivers and Bulls coach Jim Boylen were both ejected from Los Angeles' 128-121 win against Chicago on Friday night.
The Clippers led 91-76 with 1:10 remaining in the period when Boylen thought that Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell was too aggressive on an offensive foul and started yelling across the other side of the court at Rivers.
Both started arguing near their respective benches when official Jason Phillips assessed the first technical. Boylen and Rivers continued to argue which caused Phillips to assess the second technical and an automatic ejection.
After the game, Rivers told reporters that Boylen yelled out to him and called the Clippers "dirty," which Rivers took issue with. Earlier in the game, Bulls guard Ryan Arcidiacono was injured after getting leveled by a hard screen near mid-court that went uncalled, a play that initially upset Boylen, who said that officials admitted that they missed that call.
