The contract will be a big league deal worth $850,000, Passan reported, and Jeffress can earn up to $200,000 more based on an incentive of games pitched.
Jeffress, 32, posted a 5.02 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 48 appearances for the Brewers in 2019. He was at his best in 2018, when he earned his lone All-Star nod and recorded a 1.29 ERA in 73 appearances.
Jeffress has a 3.16 ERA across in his 10-year MLB career, in which he has previously played for four teams.
