It was the Bulls' silence on Boylen's future and the fact that no one knows who's really making the decisions behind the scenes. Is it the Reinsdorf ownership with financial worries in mind? Or is it new executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas? And how much influence does former chief basketball executive-turned-advisor John Paxson still have?
It all had Bernstein worked up.
"Arturas Karnisovas should come out and say, 'I'm going through my process' or 'I've gone through it and I have figured out after every player discussion that I've had and every bit of tape I've watched, my man is Jim Boylen,'" Bernstein said. "Have the guts to do that. Then I can know I'm not going to waste my time watching any of this garbage anymore. I'm sick of it. Be better than this. I'm so up to here with it. If you've got a guy who you think is better than Boylen, hire him. If you want your front office, put it together. Make it work. Can you imagine how some of these players feel? Any if you don't care what your players think because you're going to get all different players, I want to know your plan. Because this is garbage.

His full segment on the situation included much more ranting and some level-headed analysis as well. It can be heard in its entirety below, starting at about the 33:30 mark.
