(670 The Score) After producing a brilliant two months for the Cubs and falling in love with Wrigley Field, outfielder Nick Castellanos is moving on.

Castellanos has agreed to a four-year, $64-million deal with the Reds, multiple outlets reported Monday morning. The deal includes a player opt-out after the first season, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reported.

The Cubs acquired Castellanos in a trade just before the deadline passed last July 31, and he raked at a high level and quickly became a fan favorite. Castellanos hit .321 with 16 homers, 36 RBIs, 21 doubles and a 1.002 OPS in 51 games for Chicago. He hit .289 with 27 homers, 73 RBIs and an .863 OPS in 151 games split between the Tigers and Cubs in 2019.

Castellanos' departure from the Cubs comes as no surprise, as they've been quiet all offseason due to self-imposed budget restraints. Other than nearing a deal with oft-injured outfielder Steven Souza Jr., the Cubs have yet to guarantee money on a big league deal.
