“He looked good,” Stefanski said. “He had a good week and I think he’s ready to go.

“There were no limitations. He did everything. He took every rep and he felt good coming off this field.”

Beckham is returning from his third major injury – a torn ACL suffered in Week 7 at Cincinnati in 2020. He underwent surgery last Nov. 10.

The Browns had been cautious about Beckham’s return to the field, limiting him to individual and positional work during training camp, and it's unclear just how much Beckham will play Sunday.

“I’m in constant communication with the player and their coach,” Stefanski said. “Those are things we talk about throughout the week.”

Beckham’s return comes as receiver Jarvis Landry will miss the first of at least three games on injured reserve with a sprained MCL, which he suffered on the second snap against the Texans last week.

“We all know what kind of talent he has and what he brings to the field,” defensive end Myles Garrett said of Beckham. “He looked at Monday said, ‘It’s time’ and I started rubbing my hands together. The world needs to see this, man. Now we got to see that chemistry out there that was missing last year. Those two can definitely be one of the best duos in the league.”
