David Haugh (10-3): Bears 27, Browns 17
Ben Johnson said the Bears "desperately need" a victory Sunday, so they won't show up flat. Expect the Bears to double- and possibly triple-team Myles Garrett and scheme their way away from trouble. Offensively, the best route is up the middle behind a running game that remains strong. Defensively, Dennis Allen needs to confuse rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders before he gets hot on one of the coldest days of the year at Soldier Field.
Chris Emma (8-5): Bears 28, Browns 7
Given the stakes for the Bears, the forecast for Sunday and a lowly opponent in the Browns, this just shouldn’t be a close game.
Paul Pabst (8-5): Bears 24, Browns 13
It's going to be a slow-going first half. I think the Bears stick with the run and avoid the Myles Garrett pass rush. Also, the Bears defense takes the ball away twice from Shedeur Sanders.
Alex Kuhn (9-4): Bears 28, Browns 10
The Bears get their running game going and earn a convincing victory over a Browns team that’s positioning itself for a high draft pick.
Jakob Stutz (10-3): Bears 27, Browns 13
Ben Johnson knows how desperately the Bears need this one. I don't think they mess around this week.
Sean Sears (13-0): Bears 31, Browns 20
Shedeur Sanders against the Bears defense may put this game out of reach for the Browns early. I see a lot of turnovers for the Browns and big day for the Bears’ run game. The Bears are desperate for this win, Ben Johnson said, and as long as Myles Garrett doesn’t break Caleb Williams, they should get it this Sunday on the lakefront.
Tyler Ferengul (6-7): Bears 20, Browns 10
This will be a bounce-back game for the Bears in what will be one of the coldest games in Soldier Field history. The excellent Browns defense was gashed by a poor Titans team last week and will be motivated to rebound. The difference will be the Bears offense being stronger than the Browns offense. Cleveland’s defense won't hold down Ben Johnson's unit forever. If the Bears can contain Myles Garrett, they'll be in a good spot to protect Caleb Williams and establish the run game. The Bears defense is also looking for a bounce-back game after a rough performance in the loss to the Packers, and I believe they’ll rebound. The Bears improve to 10-4 and keep their NFC North title and playoff hopes very much alive.
Clint Clouse (11-2): Bears 21, Browns 10
The Bears were so close to getting over the Green Bay hump. I guess we'll have to wait until Dec. 20 for that. As for this week, Ben Johnson mentioned recently that the Bears will need to win 11 games to reach the playoffs. That means they desperately need to beat the Browns, who are having a tough year but could present a trap game for the Bears. The Browns have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and Myles Garrett is on pace for a record-breaking sack season. This won’t be an easy one for the Bears in frigid weather. This game will come down to the Bears defense preventing Shedeur Sanders and the Browns from getting in a rhythm. Chicago will force a couple turnovers, and I also have a feeling the Bears will have a 200-yard day on the ground.
