(670 The Score) Bears top receiver Allen Robinson sat out of practice Thursday with a hamstring issue, while star edge rusher Khalil Mack was limited in his work as the team continues to take extra precautions with key players.
The statuses of Robinson and Mack along with offensive tackle Charles Leno (toe), running back Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) and tight end Cole Kmet (shoulder) aren't considered in doubt for Sunday, when the Bears host the Packers in a game with big playoff implications.
Bears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks returned to practice after missing Wednesday with an illness. Rookie cornerback Jaylon Johnson (right shoulder) and nickelback Buster Skrine (concussion) remain sidelined from practice. Safety Deon Bush (foot) was also held out of practice, and tight end Demetrius Harris (foot) was limited.
The Bears held a full practice Thursday after conducting a lighter walk-through Wednesday inside the Walter Payton Center. Veteran offensive tackle Bobby Massie (knee) was present but only doing light work while returning from his injury. Chicago designated Massie for a return but hasn't yet activated him.
Massie is unlikely to return for the regular-season finale Sunday but could potentially be available for a wild-card round playoff game.
Kickoff between the Bears (8-7) and Packers (12-3) is set for Sunday at 3:25 p.m. from Soldier Field. Chicago will clinch a playoff berth with a victory.
