(670 The Score) Bears running back Roschon Johnson, a fourth-round selection, has signed his rookie contract, a four-year guaranteed deal.

Johnson, the No. 115 overall pick out of Texas, is expected to compete for a role in the Bears' backfield as a rookie. He rushed for 554 yards and six touchdowns in 2022, when he served as the backup at running back to Falcons top pick Bijan Robinson.

"He is a really good football player that I know is going to be successful in this league in many different ways," Bears general manager Ryan Poles said of Johnson. "And on top of that ... he’s an unbelievable human being as well who is going to enhance our culture, enhance our locker room and continue to meet the standards that we’ve put in place."

With Johnson now signed, the Bears' two unsigned rookies are defensive lineman Gervon Dexter Sr. and cornerback pick Tyrique Stevenson. Both were selected in the second round.

The Bears opened OTAs on Monday at Halas Hall.
