LAKE FOREST, Ill. (670 The Score) -- Bears star defensive lineman Akiem Hicks returned to practice Wednesday morning, one day after leaving the field at Halas Hall for reasons that are still unclear.
Bears coach Matt Nagy declined to reveal why Hicks left practice Tuesday morning, only saying that Hicks was now back with the team. Hicks left the field during the stretching period before practice Tuesday.
"No, there's no update," Nagy said. "He's back today. That's the only thing that matters."

Hicks' departure from practice came a week after his agent Drew Rosenhaus approached the Bears about a contract extension for his client. The 31-year-old Hicks has declined to speak with reporters during training camp.
The Bears haven't experienced any issues with Hicks, Nagy said, though he did acknowledge the odd public nature of this matter.
"He's been fine," Nagy said. "We want him to come out and play good football. Go sack the quarterback and stop the run."
Hicks is set to play his sixth season with the Bears. He has 27.5 sacks in 68 games for Chicago.
