CHICAGO (670 The Score) -- Bears defensive lineman Akiem Hicks and safety Tashaun Gipson are active against the 49ers on Sunday.
Hicks has been dealing with a groin injury and missed Chicago's loss at Tampa Bay last Sunday. He has 1.5 sacks in five games this season. Gipson missed last Sunday's game with a hip injury.
The Bears ruled out star pass rusher Khalil Mack (foot) on Friday. The team didn't place him on injured reserve, a move that was in consideration during the week.
The Bears' other inactives are quarterback Nick Foles, receiver Breshad Perriman, cornerback Artie Burns and linebacker Caleb Johnson.
